Old Mutual joBerg2c Day 1

It’s time for joBerg2c riders to embark on their nine-day mountain biking adventure again and enjoy South Africa’s beautiful countryside while helping local communities. The off-road race starts today, 26 April 2019, and ends on 4 May 2019.

Participants will start from the Karan Beef Farm outside Heidelberg near Johannesburg. They will race through four provinces and encounter South African towns such as Frankfort, Reitz, Sterkfontein, Winterton, Emseni, Nottingham, Clifton, Underberg, Glencairn, Mackenzie, Jolivet and finally arrive in Scottburgh on the South Coast.

Day One is not competitive, so riders will have time to get used to their bikes and surroundings by testing their strength on the first climb, Karan Koppie.
