    Assistant Manager - Farming - Heidelberg Gauteng

    Karan Beef has the following vacancy at the feedlot in Heidelberg Gauteng.

    The successful candidate will be a motivated, hands-on individual and will be in possession of the following:

    Requirements:
    • Grade 12
    • Technical background on farming equipment
    • Good communicator
    • Good people skills
    • Minimum of 5 years farming experience
    • Must have knowledge of pivots, balers and various farm equipment
    • Must have knowledge of eragrostis grass and other types of grass
    • Must have knowledge of herbicides and insecticides.
    • Computer literate
    • Must live in the area, within a radius of 30km
    • Good general health
    • Reliable and dependable person
    • Must be able to work weekends and outside normal working hours
    Duties include, but are not limited to:
    • Assign tasks to employees
    • See that tasks are performed up to Karan Beef Standards
    • HR duties – discipline, timesheets etc.
    • Adhere to health & safety in the department
    • Ad Hoc tasks
    • Daily reporting to the Construction Manager
