Our Heidelberg feedlot is the largest in Africa. It occupies an outside area of 2 330 hectares and accommodates 145 000 head of cattle.
Our feedmill is the largest and most modern of its kind globally. It’s capable of producing up to 1 740 tons of mixed feed every day.
These include FSSC 22000, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, HACCP and ISO 22000.
Our distribution centre in Johannesburg City Deep completes the supply chain. It makes Karan Beef the largest, fully integrated beef production organisation in Africa.
Produced from the finest Class A beef, our steaks have been aged to perfection.
I was very impressed with the work that the Karan Beef branding team did for us when we were opening our butchery.
