The 2005 Cleaver Awards

Over the past 3 years the South African Feedlot Association has invested a substantial amount of money promoting South African Beef as the premium source of protein and in particular, the first choice of red meat.

The consumer has been made aware of the versatility, value for money, health benefits and nutritional value of wholesome South African Beef in the "Beef Up" campaign. This successful campaign has given consumers the assurance that they can buy South African Beef with confidence from butchers who adhere to the quality standards set in place by the industry.
